Unit 3

Reading and Interpreting Data

About This Unit

The lessons and concepts of this unit are are designed to help you improve your ability to interpret data--whether it is presented as a table, pictograph, bar graph or line graph.

We are regularly exposed to data, data displays, and people encouraging us to interpret data in ways that are favorable to them, their company, or their political interests.

After successfully completing this unit, you'll be better prepared to critically interpret data for yourself and more confidently make up your own mind regarding the "story" the data tell.
